After not going to a concert for about a year, I've been to two shows and a rock festival this week. The most recent was Damien Rice at the Hummingbird Centre. Again, I plan on writing a full review, or at least some reflections, but overall it was a great show in a very different venue from all the other shows I've seen this week (this was the only one where I sat in a chair for most of it). "Eskimo" was amazing, and so was "Blower's Daughter." Although the highlight may have been his finale, a staged version of "Cheers Darlin'" complete with props and a storyline...
The pictures aren't as good for this one. The folks at the Hummingbird Centre are a little more strict about camera use in their concert hall. At least I didn't use a flash like 100 other people.
